Policies
Cancellation Policy
A tremendous amount of work, money and time is invested in each event that we offer.
Therefore, we have developed this policy to manage cancellations and we trust that you will understand the policy is designed to protect everyone involved.
In the event that you cannot attend a workshop for which you have registered and paid, please understand that the following policy will apply:
If You Need to Cancel BEFORE June 10, 2008
Please email workshops@artinthebitterroot.com or call (406) 642-3200 as soon as you know that you cannot attend a workshop.
- Deposits
- All workshops require a $100 deposit that is non-refundable.
- Materials Prepayment
- Some workshops require prepayment of materials.
- These materials are yours whether you or Art in the Bitterroot cancels the class.
- If you prepay materials, we will not refund that fee.
- We can make arrangements to ship any prepaid materials to you at cost.
- Full Payment
- If you pay the full price for the class and need to cancel, we will retain the $100 non-refundable deposit and any fees for prepaid materials.
- We will refund the balance (less non-refundable deposit and materials fees) if we receive your cancellation request by June 10, 2008.

If You Need to Cancel AFTER June 10, 2008
Please email workshops@artinthebitterroot.com or call (406) 642-3200 as soon as you know that you cannot attend a workshop.
- No money will be refunded after June 10, 2008.
- We can make arrangements to ship any prepaid materials to you at cost.

If Art in the Bitterroot Cancels a Class
- In the unlikely event that Art in the Bitterroot cancels a class, we will return all money you paid toward the class.
- We can make arrangements to ship any prepaid materials to you at cost.

Deposits and Partial Payments
- If you choose to pay only the non-refundable deposit, you will be billed the balance and must pay by June 10 to retain your place in the class.
- If you pay the deposit online, you will receive an email invoice with a link to pay the balance.
- If you pay the deposit by check and printed application, you will receive an invoice in the mail.

Transfers
- You may transfer from one workshop to another, space permitting. To do so, please notify us at least 30 days before the start of your workshop and pay a $25 transfer fee.
- Registrations are not transferable to another person.

General Reminders
Visitors: Please be aware that participants may not bring others (friends,relatives) inside the classroom setting; seats are reserved for registered participants only. Children should also not be left unattended while participants attend a workshop.
Location: Workshops are held at Porter's Place in Stevensville, MT unless otherwise noted. Directions and lodging information will be mailed upon registration and are available online at our website.
Lodging and Meals: No lodging or meals (except the Satruday barbecue and morning refreshment are provided in the fees.
Refreshments: Coffee and rolls are provided in the morning. Lunch is not provided but a list of nearby restaurants is available.
Photography: Art in the Bitterroot reserves the right to use photographs of any event attendee for future promotions.
Weather: The temperature can be unpredictable. We encourage you to bring layers.
